Ciara Bobee

I worked alongside the employees and assisted with the intake, distribution, and sale of the items that were donated to the establishment. We often interacted with various members of the community either through retrieving the items they wished to donate or through the process of selling the items.

Throughout my one-on-one sessions with the individuals I was tutoring, my goal was to help them better understand the subject(s) that they were struggling in while also maintaining a professional atmosphere. I helped several different students while also attending high school myself. I worked with a second grader who needed assistance in almost every subject. but mainly struggled with math and English which is what we focused on. I assisted an 8th grader who needed math assistance, as well as a 10th grader who needed assistance with her Spanish class. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wish I had also done tutoring in college.
