- Shared Governance: As a group of Nurses, along with our manager and director, we discuss the workflow of the unit and how we could improve these processes. We also discuss current problems with our unit that we think could improve and provide the unit with information on certifications and volunteer opportunities. We include ways to reach the unit's goal wether its patient safety or infection rates, etc.
- Preceptor Program: This program provides new staff/nurses with a mentor to help accommodate them to the unit while teaching the processes and protocols of the unit/hospital. Even after their required training, we are there to support the nurse with any questions they may have.
