
Cindel West is an educator currently working as a kindergarten/first grade paraprofessional at Conway Elementary School. She has three years of classroom experience supporting early elementary students. In this role, she assists teachers in delivering instruction, supports student learning, while creating a positive and structured classroom environment. Her work within the classroom has strengthened her passion for education and her commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Prior to entering the field of education, Ms. West served in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Specialist. During her military career, she developed strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills that continue to support her work in education. Her time in the military shaped her commitment to service, discipline, and teamwork. Ms. West holds an associate’s degree in Teaching Elementary Education and is continuing to expand her professional experience in the field of education. During the 2026-2027 school year, she will be working in special education, as a level II paraprofessional, to gain additional experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. She is primarily focused on growing as a well-rounded educator and further developing her skills in special education.
