Highly motivated and dedicated psychology student with a 4.0 GPA at the College of Western Idaho and a recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award (2023, 2024), expected to graduate in 2025 and transfer to Boise State University on a Presidential Transfer Scholarship. My research interests lie in understanding the impact of cognitive distortions and social influences on body image dissatisfaction, particularly in adolescents. I am also passionate about exploring the ethical considerations of play therapy and its effectiveness in early intervention for children facing mental health challenges. I aim to pursue a research-oriented career that contributes to the development of evidence-based interventions to improve the mental well-being of young people.
