I have completed the required 60 hours of CNA Clinical within taking a class that over lecture and lab prior to clinicals. I completed a 6 hour shift at the Rehab of Center of Centennial, three 10 hour shifts a long term care facility at Forest Ridge and two 12 hour shifts at US Health Memorial Central. My experience was extremely fulfilling because I was able to get one step closer to making my dream come true. While working as a Student I helped different types of ages, genders, diagnoses ect. Helping others was the highlight of my experience in each different type of care centers, getting to sit down and talk to my patients was not only Important for them but for me as well. While completing my clinicals I was able to get hands on experience with helping patients walk, go to the bathroom, help them shower/bath, helping them eat, changing clothes and changing out old liens and making their bed. I have a certificate my Instructor gave me after I passed Clinicals but I still have to take my CNA State test (Written and a 5 Skill run through) which i plan on doing very soon.
