DECA

During my freshman year I took a Sales and Marketing class that ignited my passion for business. We learned about supply and demand in the economy, business language, as well as getting the opportunity to participate in the area DECA competition (Distributive Education Clubs of America) and get a feeling of what a business environment looks like. Sophomore and Junior year, I competed at Area and State. I was also appointed as DECA delegate for my class, bringing back information each month. Additionally, I tutored a freshman for multiple weeks in preparation for competition.
