Clare Barber

As a student worker in the Marketplace Dining Hall I help with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.

I served as an educational tutor and summer counselor for SLICK (Grinnell-Newburg School District's Summer Learning Is Cool for Kids) and LINK (Lead. Inspire. Nurture. Keep) through the Grinnell Educational Partnership at Davis Elementary School.

My duties included:

• Literacy Programming
• Art Practice and Activities
• Large-group Learning Activities
• Youth Supervision and Care

PALS is a no-kill animal shelter in Grinnell. I was responsible for cat care. This included cleaning cages and litter boxes, as well as feeding and providing companionship.
