Deputy and Interim Director for Athletics

- Assist with daily procedures and policies of Athletic Department and Aquinas College.
- Recruits, hires, trains and manages head coaches in 30 sports.
- Responsible for sport oversight with all athletic teams and coaching staff.
- Responsible for all NAIA eligibility certification as well as other non-NAIA teams each semester.
- Created and updated records and files to maintain document compliance.
- Collects, reviews and evaluates information related to coaches recruiting of athletes, to ensure compliance within conference and national association. Responsible for researching any potential rules violations.
- Provides administrative support for coaches of all athletic teams at Aquinas College; attends practices, home and away games, and conference championships.
- Prepares Title IX Equity in Athletics report (EADA) submission each year.
- Work closely with Vice President to ensure continued success and support for current athletic programs.
- Prepares NAIA ROA report each year.
- Understands and participates in budget process.
- Attend all WHAC conference executive committee meetings.
- Provide staff with updates to legislative changes within WHAC and NAIA.
- Currently evaluating each employee's individual strengths to develop supportive evaluation process.
- Current Aquinas Senior Women Leader (SWL) to represent WHAC and NAIA.
