I am a motivated individual who has many interests and hobbies outside of their work, but nevertheless an individual who takes pride and joy in their work. Everything I do, I ensure that I put 100% of my effort into and I am able to do that because I become very passionate about the things that I do. I care for others, and whether that is my family, friend, coworker or even a stranger, I make sure to always put them first. I strongly believe that the most efficient I can be is inside a team where we all share the same objective. I have experience directing people at my previous places of employment. I would make sure that things ran smoothly and all issues were avoided whenever there was a stressful situation for the team. I will uplift others whilst ensuring that they and myself remain as productive as possible given the circumstances. I believe a job should be done the right way, not the easy way, not the lazy way, but the way as directed by the instructions that I am given for any task that I may encounter.

- My current job has been very beneficial to my skillset and growth as an individual and employee. I have learned to multitask, remember many details under stress, and to do the job right every time. Working at an escape room allows me to work on computers, with my hands making repairs, and it has allowed me to work in proximity to many electrical devices which has no doubt piqued my curiosity for how electrical work is done. Escape rooms require precision every time you reset for the next group to go in. There are multiple pieces (15 or more) in all 10 rooms. I have to place these pieces in the same place every time so that games run smoothly and the puzzles can be solved. This has taught me the importance of consistency in the workplace and to always double check your work. So long as I apply myself to learning the room and creating a unique routine for resetting each room I succeed and the workplace runs smoothly. The joy of this job is being able to give families an experience that they will think fondly of. To ensure that, I have to make sure that I’m always on time and that I am doing the job correctly. I strongly believe that a job should be done the right way no matter what, and I have always seen to ensure that is the case during my time at Escapology.

- At this job I have learned a variety of skills such as how to succeed in a fast paced environment, customer service, and how to operate and maintain kitchen equipment. I began at this job working on the line, serving customers and developing my customer service skills. I later on moved to Restaurant Prep which involved me preparing the food, washing dishes, cleaning the lobby, and many other tasks that the manager saw as needed. Among some of the skills that I developed whilst working there, I believe that the most beneficial is the ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining communication and efficiency. Whether I’m working on the line or on prep, my job involves me communicating and collaborating with my co-workers and leadership to ensure that the job gets done well and on time.
