  • Managed and coordinated multiple lines of effort across staff sections in the development of timely intelligence products aimed at influencing real world contingency/crisis operations across the globe, and in support of Dept Homeland Security.
  • Developed and facilitated a staff training curriculum tailored to analyst across multiple subordinate sections focusing on technical/analytical writing, operational planning, data systems, , and network engagement totaling over 50 education-based career progression opportunities.
  • Served as the sole owner of multiple programs inspected by Headquarters Marine Corps, including the privacy act based “Intelligence Oversight” program, the security management based “Classified Materials Custodian Center”, and the “Consolidated Memorandum Receipt” program, in which I was accountable for the employment, transfer, and safe keeping of classified programs and technical equipment. Each program received an “Effective” rating, with no discrepancies, over the course of eight inspections.
  • Advised a team of developers in Exercise Scenario Design refining reporting repository structure and data delivery methods in support of two large scale joint services exercises, and numerous smaller crisis-based exercises.

Surveillance & Reconnaissance Operations Manager

  • Developed the strategy, coordinated for support from outside agencies, and monitored the execution of the Intelligence Department’s first ever approved long term geospatial/imagery data collection operation aimed at observing responses to US DoD presence and operations.
  • Served as the daily briefer to the Commanding General Marine Forces Japan (LtGen) on all collection requirements, operations, and coordination taking place on his behalf, as well as providing him with situational awareness of all adjacent collection operations taking place within the command’s area of responsibility.
  • Contributed research, data analysis, and written excerpts to studies conducted by outside agencies including Center for Naval Analysis, Office of Naval Intelligence, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, highlighting the long range surveillance capabilities and equipment shortfalls in Asia.
  • Developed and instructed multiple iterations of a training curriculum for entry level collection operations analysts, and Process, Exploitation, and Dissemination Cell members ensuring the talent development of over 50 analysts across multiple sections.

  • Was nominated and recognized in consecutive years as the leader of the second highest performing recruiting team (out of 92 stations in the Midwest) including awards for special recognition applicants, recruiter of the year, rookie recruiter of the year, and was invited to a high performer gala for being recognized as one of the top 10% of all station commanders under Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
  • Supervised and monitored the weekly schedules and techniques of the recruiters of the section, providing mentorship and coaching, while modifying plans to maximize proficiency; resulting in each recruiter’s attainment and contracting data to far surpass the national average.
