· Performs admission and discharge procedures of veterans who are enrolled/ordered into substance abuse treatment programs (SATP), homeless programs, and who suffer from mental illness into and out of the station domiciliary.

· Ensures that the veterans successfully complete their respective programs by making sure that the environment is safe and secure, and giving instruction/training in reference to their specific program.

· Conducted random health and welfare inspections and counseled veterans on any violation of policy.

· Supervised recreational activities and facilitated classes to improve chances of veterans meeting with successful completion of their respective programs.

· Request information from various law enforcement agencies and courts to complete background checks of new and current employees.

· Conducts fingerprinting of current and potential employees to include outside contractors using the Livescan Fingerprint System.
