In 2010, after graduation, I was accepted to Mars Hill University In Seattle, Washington and began a Masters In Counseling Program. Coming out of the recent recession, I let fear dictate my next steps, and pursued Nursing instead. I was afraid that I would not be able to have a successful career as a therapist.
