I worked in the warehouse filling orders and organizing the warehouse. In a short time I was promoted to warehouse manager. I was in charge of incoming and outgoing supply and materials.

I went to work with VDOT full time during the summer after high school. My position included mowing and other types of road work. I also ran various types of equipment. Most of my time was spent driving a dump truck. I worked there a little over a year. I was laid off due to state cuts.
