Autism Speaks (Surfers for Autism) Volunteer
In my sophomore year, I volunteered to represent my Fraternity in a week-long philanthropy hosted by Alpha Xi Delta sorority. I raised over $12,000 for Autism Speaks by organizing multiple fundraising events. The highlight of this week was the day I spent with Surfers for Autism teaching autistic children how to surf. My love of surfing and serving came together to create a memorable experience for both me and the children.
