05.2023 - Current
  • Utilized advanced analytical tools to evaluate performance metrics and drive actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Developed forecasting models to enhance demand planning accuracy and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.

I designed the flow and inventory forecast model used to provide DC management with information needed to plan for space and labor requirements. I also worked with cross-functional teams to enable more efficient flow of product through the Supply Chain. I created scorecards to track volume forecast accuracy in order to show areas of potential improvement.

Supply Chain Analyst II

Sam’s Club
Bentonville, AR
03.2022 - 04.2023
  • Key Accomplishments:
  • Formulated and refined freight factor calculations to enhance transportation cost analysis.
  • Conducted in-depth evaluations of complex bids to support strategic decision-making.
  • Directed and implemented saving initiatives aimed at reducing expenses and optimizing resources.

I developed freight factor calculations for suppliers that takes into account inbound, handling and outbound costs of going through the Sam’s Club’s supply chain. I handled multiple bid analyses which included analyzing a suppliers costs, capabilities and ship points to find the best supplier to do business with. I also led the development of creating processes and procedures of what goes into freight factor calculations and supply chain decisions. Lastly, I prompted an initiative to identify the top suppliers that are shipping less than truckload shipments that should be shipping full truck load shipments. Not only does shipping full truckloads reduce cost, but also it decreases lead-time and reduces the number of touches on the product. The project ultimately identified $3.1 million of savings from the top 10 suppliers.

Achieved cost reduction through effective inventory and replenishment strategies by removing low-performing products and concentrating on high-demand items. Enhanced inventory productivity by identifying and focusing on key category drivers while reducing low-selling products. Increased sales and demand through the execution of promotional events for select product lines.

Category Management Specialist I

Entergy Services LLC
Spring, TX

  • Analyzed operational processes to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitated negotiation, bidding, sourcing, and implementation of complex contracts.
  • Assessed rates and cost structures to enhance pricing strategies and profitability.

I performed detailed spend analysis to identify and aid in the implementation of cost-saving opportunities. This includes finding areas of spend where I negotiated lower costs through creating enterprise-wide contracts. For example, I led bidding events where I spoke on behalf of my stakeholders to potential suppliers. After identifying a supplier, I negotiated terms, conditions, prices and then created a contract with said supplier. Additionally, I evaluated rates and cost structures across multiple areas to create accurate historical cost models.

  • Facilitated timely delivery of purchase orders to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Executed processing of purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted stock availability in stores.

I developed and maintained positive and effective relations with vendors/suppliers/customers to facilitate timely and accurate inventory delivery. Supply Chain Analyst (Special Project)

H-E-B Grocery Company, LP
San Antonio, TX
03.2019 - 06.2019
  • Analyzed and restructured logistics processes between ice cream plant and frozen warehouse to improve cost-effectiveness and operational throughput.
  • Optimized pallet configurations to reduce storage and handling costs.
  • Validated and rectified data entries within existing systems.

I performed third-party cost analysis, process analysis, and data analysis. The third-party cost analysis ensured that the third-party warehouse stacked product to the maximum Ti x Hi configuration to reduce storage costs. I updated the master list, which the third-party warehouse uses to ascertain how to configure the pallets they receive for storage. The process analysis evaluated ways to improve the flow between HEB’s ice cream plant and the frozen warehouse. My recommendations reduced costs, process redundancies, and the amount of time it took to unload and induct a trailer. The data analysis validated product information between warehouses and brought to light the inconsistencies found in the system.
