  • Installation, removal, and replacement of major components on AH-1Z to include, but not limited to: engines, gearboxes, rotor assemblies, hydraulic systems, drive shafts, and all flight control systems.
  • Work in tandem with Planning, Quality, and DCMA with SOFs, install processes, as well as resolving issues with said processes.
  • Perform OV inspections on various components and processes for compliance and serviceability for the customer.
  • Knowledge of AH-1Z components to include, but not limited to: hydraulic systems, engines, flight control systems, driveshafts, rotors, and airframe structure.
  • Maintenance to ensure compliance with Engineering specifications.
  • Work skills performed range from final assembly stations 501z through 503z.
  • Assisted with 2nd shift flight operations on AH-1Z as well as some V-22 operations when needed.

Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM)
