With over 10 years of entrepreneurial and management experience, I serve as the Executive Vice President at Hands of Mercy Inc. Guatemala, a legal NGO that provides support and services for documented cases of abuse against children, women, and mothers with children. I am responsible for overseeing the operations and strategy of our organization, which includes a shelter, a local TV station, and various outreach and internship programs. • I volunteered with my youth group at Long Point Baptist Church during my middle school summer. During that summer I successfully completed several outreach community events such as bringing snacks to the Star of Hope, engaging in a free car wash to the local community, completing a cleanup project for Hip Hop Hope Ministries in Brookshire Texas, sorting clothes at the Houston First Baptist Church Faith Center, and assisting in several fundraisers for camp.
• I am a member of the Union Pacific Railroad Veterans and Patriots group. We put on many annual Toys for Tots fundraiser events. In December we have a big event with the Union Pacific Veterans and the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation. Last year we raised over 100,000 dollars for the Marine Toys for Tots Program. Our goal is to collect new unwrapped toys to distribute those toys to the less fortunate children at Christmas. The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.
• Lifetime Membership in National Society of High School Scholars. At its most basic level, the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is an academic honor society that recognizes and serves scholars from more than 26,000 high schools across 170 different countries.
