Summary

Enthusiastic and motivated educator looking to help inspire and teach future generations of historians. With a diverse background, I have learned to connect with a wide array of individuals from different cultures and backgrounds while simultaneously working towards a common interest or goal. History has always been a passion of mine and it pains me to hear individuals say that history is boring or trivial. It is a goal of mine throughout my teaching career to help students understand the importance of our history, and also how it has shaped our future and become our legacy. I look forward to grappling with these sometimes troubling, sometimes proud moments within U.S. history with students, and to help them make sense out of the tumultuous past we call our history. I hope to make an impact in the lives of students by helping them to not only better understand our past, but to appreciate and learn from it.
