  • Assure that our house is run to protect the safety, health and well being of our 40 residents and members of the sorority. I strive to have a happy and positive working relationship with our staff, vendors, neighbors and the University to support the positive reputation of Kappa Delta. Additionally, I develop and implement strategy for long term maintenance of the Chapter House while scheduling, supervising and reviewing the work and invoicing of any outside contractor. I complete grocery and supply shopping on an as-needed basis sending all invoices to our HCB with detailed explanations of the charges and within the confines of my budget. Most importantly, I love to meet and greet all visitors, especially parents during move-in days. My girls know they can contact me at any time with issues and questions as I am here for them.

  • Responsible for the overall safe operations and upkeep of our 76 live-in student's house. This included negotiating with vendors for best prices on supplies, repairs, cleaning and kitchenette food. Hired kitchen/meal servers, worked with schedules and submitted bi-weekly timesheets for payroll. Worked with Chef on daily menus and all special occasion functions, additionally was hostess for all guests, especially for Parent's Weekends. Scheduled all inspections, work performed in the house and oversaw all repairs. Most importantly, loved working with the girls, understanding the challenges they faced after two years away from campus life, new experiences and living in a large home together for the first time.
