Affiliations

During the height of COVID-19 in the Spring of 2021 I wanted to help out with the pandemic. My undergraduate allowed students to participate in volunteering. Some of the volunteering that was available was assisiting students with COVID-19 testing particular athlethes at our school. Some of these opportunities were:

  • Assisting with swapping over 200 student athletes with testing for COVID-19
  • I also tested student samples to see if they had COVID-19

Accomplishments

  • Achieved the highest rank in Scouting, an honor earned by less than 5% of all Scouts, after over six years of consistent advancement and leadership
  • Led a community service project requiring the planning, coordination, and execution of my project. The project that I had to coordinate all on my own and prepare the whole thing. The project consisted of making 40 blankets for a domestic violence shelter. The whole project had to have money awareness everything brought up by me. This includes raising funds, communicating with the shelter.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and time management by organizing volunteers, securing materials, and meeting strict project guidelines
  • Developed lifelong skills in accountability, teamwork, and civic responsibility through rigorous merit badge requirements and progressive leadership roles
