- I was brought on to design a force sensor to detect axial forces acting on the arm of surgical robot, Raven II.
- I designed, built, and 3D printed a frame that attached to the robot and housed force-sensing buttons.
- I calibrated the force sensors and placed them in a geometry so that magnitude and direction of force can be easily determined.
- I am currently working on making a code that could read and calculate magnitude and direction of force using input from sensors.
