Hello! My name is Collin Hildebrandt, and I am a student at Grand Valley State University with a double major in Finance and Economics. I have an extensive history in entrepreneurship, sales, and management, which has built a robust and adaptive understanding of the financial state of the world; through this hard work over the years, I've grown to love hard work, learning, and a detailed understanding of the world around me!
For two years now, I've independently owned and operated my business. At Russo Luxury, I source and sell ultra high-end jewelry, clothing, and accessories. In total, the firm has generated multiple five-figure years, and grown a very strong and loyal client base- through this, I've learned to work in sales, modeling, product procurement and fulfillment, accounting, and customer relations. Overall, it has been a tremendously rewarding experience!
For the past 7 years, I've been doing regular lawncare, patio building, trimming and mulching primarily in town as my first business with my brother- since 2017, we've generated over 5 figures in revenue and learned practical skills as well as the value of hard work- a very rewarding experience! Since then, I've passed on the torch to my younger siblings, but still enjoy mowing a lawn every once in a while.
Currently, I am working an internship at Vector Marketing- a partner company to Cutco Cutlery. I've worked as a salesperson to network, present, and sell kitchen cutlery to customers.
During this previous summer, I chose to work in fine dining- at Noto's at the Bil Mar. Cooking is a big passion of mine, and I had the fortune of training under Chef Douglass to further my culinary experience, primarily with pizza- also assisting me to get my internship with Cutco Cutlery!
During my high school summers, I received the opportunity to work at Jost International. At the factory, I worked directly on the floor in assembly, on the line. During these hot summers, I learned the true value of hard work and raw manual labor building landing gear for semi truck trailers. While it was tough work at the time, I believe it was a very rewarding experience!
