  • Consulted with electrical and mechanical departments to ensure machine designs were functional and practical, to help minimize issues during assembly and integration.
  • Led and assisted other engineers with the development of PLC, Robotic, HMI, Machine Vision and Industrial PC programming.
  • Created a company wide Wiki for aid in engineering standardization and training across all divisions. Includes educational material for newer inexperienced engineers and best practices for mechanical, electrical and software in machine design.

  • Developed custom PLC logic that integrates with servo motion, robotic commands, HMI data, machine safety, and SCADA systems. Includes Allen Bradley Logix lineup of PLCs.
  • Programmed HMI, SCADA systems using various software packages such as FactoryTalk View ME, Studio 5000 View Designer, Easy Builder Pro. Formulated company branding and recognition with templated user interfaces with the additional benefit of expediting development, which are still in use today.
  • Developed custom full-stack C# applications in Winforms, WPF/Avalonia and UWP deployed on industrial automation that tightly couples with PLCs, Robotics and Machine vision.
  • Generated proof of concept simulations for engineering aid and marketing inside the Unity 3D game engine. Including physics simulation, cycle-time/sequence analysis, and inverse kinematics for 4 and 6-Axis robot arms.
