I feel I would be a good fit for this job because I am a hands on learner and like to be outdoors when I work. I have good people skills and enjoy being around and meeting new people. I am a hard worker and am not afraid of learning new things. I catch on quickly to what I am showed. I would really appreciate being considered for this position.
When I started with Barclay I worked as a hand and have worked myself up to having my own crew. We cover all aspects of oil location maintenance and clean up. During my time at Barclay I have learned to operate a backhoe, telehandler, bulldozer, skid steer, crane, road maintainer and excavation equipment. I have built skills for dealing with different situations that need quick thinking and people skills.
During my time with MacGrady's I learned framing and finish carpentry. We did everything from bathroom remodels to building 4500 sq ft homes start to finish. I learned the art of drywall and how to use stilts for ceilings. I did trim work and built cabinets for small spaces. I did a lot of work roofing also, as we did all types of shingles and metal roofing.
During my time with O'Neil I prepped all sizes of buildings to be lifted for moving. We would separate them from the fondation/basement and disconnected existing plumbing etc. I helped jack up homes and stacked cribs for support, helped guide the driver backing the trailer under the building and set the home when arriving on location. I helped to roll homes onto basements and foundations as well as on footings. Once on location we would level the homes on the foundation or footings. I also helped with all aspects of flagging large loads on highways and interstates.
