To Whom It May Concern,

I moved to Wyoming from Birmingham, Alabama in 2021 after completing my associates in applied science. I now have my 5th year apprenticeship card and am having to wait until August to take my journeyman test. I am looking for a position in the electrical field that I can build my career in. I am interested in a position with your company because I believe it could help me develop and further my skills in the electrical trade. I believe I can be an asset to your company having had the experience of working on a variety of different electrical installations and projects. Through working in the electrical trade, I am interested and appreciate the work you do. I am confident I have the necessary skills to learn and perform the tasks at hand well and efficiently. Thank you for your consideration, I appreciate this opportunity and look forward to hearing from you.

As my resume indicates, I have experience in Electrical, construction, landscaping, handyman work, and serving. The electrical field has taught me about a wide variety of the electrical industry. From residential, commercial, and industrial, they have taught me necessary components that are crucial for all types of electrical. It has also taught me the necessary safety needed when working on and around electricity in many environments, while working as a team in doing so. Construction helped me learn how to work safely, efficiently, and in all types of conditions. Landscaping helped me form skills that pertain to pushing through strenuous jobs. Handyman work helped me acquire skills in paying attention to detail, learning and applying what I’ve learned, as well as problem solving. Serving helped develop communication and social skills, working with others, and multitasking effectively.

In addition, having been captain for both my football and baseball teams in high school taught me how to be an effective leader. This is very important to the person I am today because I learned how to do things the right way through hard work and determination, even in the worst circumstances.

In conclusion, I am interested in a position with your company because I have strong work ethic, self starter, and I believe I will be an asset to your company and be able to personally grow from a new opportunity. Again, Thank you so much for your consideration and I am look forward to speaking with you.

Sincerely,

Colton Yeager
