I created Limited Liability Company specializing in the online sale of new and used outdoor clothing and equipment following from my passion for the outdoors and vintage clothes. I formulated a business plan, filed for Articles of Incorporation, and used website design software to create an online store. I have closed my online storefront in preparation for medical school, but I still maintain my LLC status if I were to ever wish to reopen.
I worked as an intern with John Ebert, McDonald's Franchise owner of 42 restaurants. As an intern, I attended meetings with local businessmen in West Virginia, authored and edited proposition to Corporate McDonald's to close a restaurant location, filmed informational video about internship for prospective interns, and worked with managers on a in-house leadership program.
As an assistant curator at the Museum of Biodiversity at Notre Dame, I had a variety of responsibilities including cataloging new specimens for display in the museum, specimen identification, designing displays, specimen maintenance and restoration, and giving tours to the general public.
I was an intern at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma center servin a large rural area in Western Pennsylvania. I completed 400 hours full time clinical observation at local hospital, alternating weeks shadowing 14 different specialties.
As a Graduate TA, I was in charge of running two 3-hour laboratory sections consisting of approximately 20 students each. My responsibilities included managing an Undergraduate TA, assisting the students with experiments, grading assignments, keeping the lab and equipment clean, and reporting to the Organic Chemistry Professor.
Previous to my experience as Graduate TA, I served as an Undergraduate TA in the Organic Chemistry Lab. I assisted students with their experiments, ran Mass Spectrometry, IR, and NMR machines, and was responsible for keeping the lab clean.
I currently serve as a remote office assistant where my responsibilities include assisting with paperwork communicating with McDonald's Corporate, managing employee records, and payroll.
I was paid as a laborer to construct a pole-barn and complete construction on a cabin in Monteagle, TN.

Poster Presentation
University of Notre Dame Undergraduate Research Fair
I presented a poster titled "Large Ammonites and Nautiloids of the Lower Lyme Regis Blue Lias Limestone Formation" which was a culmination of three years of my previous paleontology research in the Museum of Biodiversity at Notre Dame. Through my research, I cataloged and identified approximately 30 previously unidentified and uncataloged ammonite specimens that resided in the museum. Through this research, I developed relationships with many paleontologists such as some at the Field Museum in Chicago, and I became familiar with the difficulties of a literature search on niche subjects.
