Research

Case Study Poster

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, LECOM - Johnstown, PA

I assisted on research and making a poster based on a clinical case where I observed much of the care progression. The poster was titles “Latissimus Dorsi Flap as Salvage Surgical Management for Persistent Sternal Wound Infection Following Urgent Quadruple Coronary Artery Bypass

The other authors of the research and poster are Mitchell Casey, OMS III (Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine); Timothy Chung, DO; Kamran Shayesteh, DO, FACOS

Poster Presentation

University of Notre Dame Undergraduate Research Fair

I presented a poster titled "Large Ammonites and Nautiloids of the Lower Lyme Regis Blue Lias Limestone Formation" which was a culmination of three years of my previous paleontology research in the Museum of Biodiversity at Notre Dame. Through my research, I cataloged and identified approximately 30 previously unidentified and uncataloged ammonite specimens that resided in the museum. Through this research, I developed relationships with many paleontologists such as some at the Field Museum in Chicago, and I became familiar with the difficulties of a literature search on niche subjects.
