I supervised the Marine Oilers and was the direct assistant to the Chief Marine Engineer. I also assisted in filing work requests, part requests, boiler maintenance.

Provide recommendations, manage and schedule work orders using CMMS systems, develop
plans to improve department efficiency. Maintain and organize regulatory binders, design
databases for preventative maintenance schedule, perform asset validation and data entry.
Develop maintenance procedures for equipment such as chillers, pumps and air handlers.

• Investigated equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation and made appropriate maintenance recommendations.
• Conducted preventative maintenance on the Main Engines, Generators, Centrifuge, etc. This included the changing of filters, lube oil, and replacement of sensors if necessary.
• Assisted with landing and tying up the barge and entering/exiting the notch of the barge.
• Assisted and preformed Fueling operations, Slops Discharge operations, and filling of potable water and Lube oil.
• Created a Microsoft Excel program to calculate the Fuel Report for the Tug Mako.
