Provide direct support to students in a Structured Learning Program (SLP), serving individuals with diverse behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs. • To plan and implement the legislative agenda of the Senate.
• Preside over the Senate, choose which Members to recognize during floor debate, rule on points of order, and maintain decorum.
• To declare the outcome of votes and announce the results of recorded votes within Senate meetings.
• To refer legislation to a committee(s) and set deadlines for committee action.
• Signing bills to be presented to the ASWOU President for signing.
