Dear New Palestine Community Schools, I am writing to apply for the Student Service Specialist position. I have been a member of the Hancock County Community and a resident of New Palestine for 10 years. I proudly serve on the Hancock Hope House Board of Directors to stay connected and give back to my community.

With my experience in coordinating case management, wrap around services, and community engagement to clients, I am confident I can make a positive impact with the students you serve. I have worked in both the government and nonprofit sectors in providing supports and resources to clients and the community at large.

With my experience in case management, I provided individual and group goal setting session, where I helped the client create treatment plans with clear and attainable goals. I have experience in developing treatment plans for various populations, and have a special interest in helping underrepresented groups succeed. I have worked alongside those transitioning out of the justice system, youth during their residential treatment and adults addressing mental health needs. I assisted in developing and implementing a re-entry program for individuals leaving incarceration to ensure they had enough community supports through identifying problems and helping them get connected to the right community partner. I am excited to bring my experience and skills to the role of Student Services Specialist.
