College graduate with experience in Java and C# programming. I have 10 years of experience in working as a team with peers to accomplish any and all goals. I have an equivalent amount of experience in customer service- I am very sociable and courteous, and am always eager to help both peers and clients/ customers whenever I can!
My current role primarily involves assisting customers within the building with troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. I also conduct routine inspections of IDFs and MDFs withing my building.
During network outages or power loss, I am responsible for doing preliminary troubleshooting and ensuring failover kicks off smoothly.
I also assist vendors, such as HP and RCS, when they come to install specialized equipment.
Officially certified framer for Hobby Lobby. When customers bring their artwork or documents into the store, I help them pick a frame (and often a mat, as well) that they like. After ordering the materials needed, I cut glass, measure and cut matting, and assemble the finished product. The task of helping a customer decide on a style and look that they'll love requires a good sense of color, sizing, and style.
Besides framing, I perform other tasks for the store, such as ordering inventory, reorganizing and laying out product via planagram, and process freight.
The Customer Service Manager (CSM) position involved greeting customers as they entered the store and offering assistance promptly. I was also tasked with helping with merchandise returns, exchanges, and refunds, as well as approving discounts and handling change. I also assigned and kept track of lunch breaks for all cashiers.
The Assistant Manager role involved leading shifts and managing crew members, training new employees, handling money from registers and the store safe, and most importantly, interacting with customers. I would handle customer concerns by listening to the customer's needs, and providing the most effective solution to make sure they were as satisfied as possible.
Started out as a standard crew member and was offered the opportunity to move up to this higher position. Worked in kitchen and in drive-thru, handling/prepping food and taking orders from customers; often at a fast pace, especially during peak business hours. Operating drive-thru gave me my first experience in interacting with and assisting customers.
Manager-specific tasks involved running store shifts on my own, and managing other employees. Often assisted customers with complaints and concerns, and formulated solutions quickly to ensure their satisfaction while also keeping pace with business.
