Hi, my name is Conor Dempsey; I am a part of a family of four. I have one brother named Patrick, who resides in Lincoln, and a mother and father who live in Neligh, Nebraska, Ben and Deb Dempsey. I Grew up in Friend, Nebraska, until I was a freshman in high school and moved to Neligh, Nebraska. I lived there for about three years, competing in sports, keeping a healthy lifestyle, and eventually graduating in 2021. I moved to Norfolk to pursue my education at Northeast Community College.
I graduated with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. While in college, I worked at Target and then started working security at Faith Regional Facility. I went to school to pursue loss prevention or law enforcement. I became familiar with customer service, helping customers, and having human interactions. After my time at Target, I got a security job at Faith Regional Hospital with law enforcement and security aspects, checking cameras and securing the property. I also work security in a BHU (Behavioral Health Unit), so I dealt with different behaviors in people, learned how to comfort and calm someone down, and not be affected by insults. I live with my girlfriend and my dog; I am searching for a future career to follow. I am currently a (CSO) working for the City of Norfolk, hoping to educate myself on the law enforcement aspect of my degree. I love to work out, take my dog for walks, and spend quality time with my family.
