I am a hardworking, flexible person who has good communication and critical thinking skills. I have been in many clubs and organizations where I have been in a leadership position including being a chair in Student Council. I have dedicated a majority of my life and free time outside of school to service. Whether it is customer service or just public service through clubs like Key Club, Student Council, National Honour Society, or any one of the other countless service clubs I participated in. Both through my work with my school and my work through my job I have demonstrated a high level of commitment to service. And it is something I want to continue doing. Whether it be helping someone with their research project or working at another deli. I believe I was made to serve and I want to continue to help people in my daily life.

I was very active in my school. I was in a total of twelve clubs including book club, film club, German Club, SADD Chapter, FBLA, Letterman’s, Student Union, and Repair Club. I participated in NHS, Key Club, Jag Crew, and Student Council. I wasthe chair of my committee in the Student Council for two years and was init for four years. I attended the Missouri Association of Student Councils' Districts leadership event for the past three years and have attended their statewide meets at MASC State and MASC summer camp as well. I volunteer at Open Door Animal Shelter. I have also volunteered for and with Special Olympics for events including Polar Plunge and the Desoto Special Olympic Track Meet. I participated in March For Hunger and have volunteered to work the Job Fair in my school district for the past two years. Most recently, I was a recipient of the Distinguished Student Leader Award which required me to have a specific number of service hours and be a part of a certain amount of leadership training events.
I am the recipient of the Earl Collins Foundation Scholarship which is a scholarship given to students who have dedicated a vast amount of time to public service and it is given through the Kiwanis organization.
