Accomplishments

  • Motivation played a key role in the accomplishment of the Unit's mission. As a key team member, I transformed myself and the people around me into successful Allied Trade Specialists, and helped the Non-Commissioned Officers around me accomplish any task ahead. I also trained myself to be a future leader. I was awarded a Army Achievement Medal (AAM) for being Student First Sergeant and leading my company. In March 2025, a critical, last-minute project came down on a Friday afternoon to my S&R section. With my CW2 at ALC, SSG and SGT at ESB, I helped lead a team of three Soldiers and demonstrated award-worthy commitment to the mission. My team directly fulfilled the 25th ID Commanding General's intent for BDE/BN CMD teams to become more light and lethal. Three other soldiers and I had an integral part in the short-suspense completion of the Polaris Ranger BN TAC Box fabrication for Task Force Rattlesnake. Our experience in advanced manufacturing resulted in the design and fabrication of two battlefield-ready communication storage racks to be used during JPMRC-X in the Philippines. A project of this scale can take two weeks to complete, but we tirelessly worked 84 hours over four days to ensure a quality product could be produced before vessel departure."
