  • Filled in as Acting Machinist Lead in the absence of a full-time Machinist Lead, while performing Machinist Lead duties such as working the daily schedule, attending meetings, assigning work, ordering parts and supplies, and status jobs in Asset Suites.
  • Acting Machinist Lead during outages, overseeing the overhauls of steam turbines, generators, and gas turbines at the various steam and peaking stations while leading Machinists, contractors and vendors, as well as working with various other crafts while working the daily outage schedule, attending meetings, assigning work, ordering parts and supplies, and status jobs in asset suites.
  • Preform preventative and corrective maintenance on various pieces of equipment including Turbine/Generators, Coal Mills, Pumps, Fans and Boiler feed pumps at the steam plants and the peaking stations

Shop Union Steward 2019-current

  • Being selected as shop union steward has been an honor and it has developed and improved my leadership skills and public speaking
  • This role has developed my communication skills to have clear and effective communication not only with my peers but also management, it has given me the opportunity to foster a personal relationship with trust and honesty
  • I have been able to learn and build not only professionally but personally working through situations, issues or problems as they arise using effective communication and constructive clear conservations

Lead chair Machinist apprenticeship committee 2010-current

  • oversee the Machinist apprenticeship for the last 15 years, it has been great helping the apprentices with issues as the arise and pass on the knowledge while training in a inclusive working environment

Tool and Die Maker

  • Ran machine tools such as Lathes, Surface Grinders, Conventual Milling Machine, Jig Bore, CNC Lathes and Milling Machines
  • Blueprint Reading/Drawing
