I worked as a pharmacy technician for 3 years with Walgreens and moved my way up to a senior pharmacy technician. Some of my day-to-day tasks and responsibilities were:

• Filling prescriptions for patients
• Customer service at the register
• Ordering and stocking medications
• Calling insurance providers to correct issues
• Call patients in order to maintain their needs
• Assisting the pharmacist with whatever needs doing.

Once I left the military I picked up the first job I could to help my wife with the bills. I found a job as a shift lead at Walgreens. Through Walgreens I found a passion for pharmacy work. My tasks and responsibilities in this position were:

• Provide customer service and rectify any issues they may have
• Maintain a professional work environment among employees
• Count money at the end of the day to ensure every dollar is accounted for
• Take in inventory
• Make the daily schedule for employees

I enlisted in the Army in 2013 as a Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst (35G). Being an intelligence position requiring a top secret security clearance, the amount of information I can disclose on this is limited. However, during my time in the military I made it to the rank of Sergeant (E5) where I had to take care of soldiers. Ensure all their certifications were in order and that they were in the best shape they could be. I had to discipline and encourage.
