At age 19, I was diagnosed with stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and faced a highly uncertain prognosis. I chose to participate in an experimental chemotherapy program to contribute to future medical advancements while committing fully to my own recovery. Through determination and sustained effort, I completed treatment, regained mobility, and achieved remission. This experience strengthened my patience, adaptability, compassion, and ability to persist through extreme adversity.
Later, by applying long-term planning, financial responsibility, and disciplined decision-making, I built and sustained a successful business and, at age 34, purchased my home outright.
