CORIE WILKINS

Durham,NC

Summary

A native son of Chicago, IL with a heart for social justice through a well-rounded approach to human engagement and crisis management. This is exemplified through my three year tenure as a journalism and communications professional, eight years of formal ministry experience, and three years of law enforcement service. Through this training and experience, personal and professional, I have curated a unique understanding of the intersection between race, poverty, health, law, and other social functions that allow me to better understand, advocate for, and ultimately work with various different population groups to impact change through tangible and intangible metrics.
