- Research project: 3 group members and I were given the task of finding some social dilemma and seeing how we could manipulate. We chose to target participants and their friends, specifically seeing if the number of friends listed by the actor, which was one of us, affected their self report score when it came to their self esteem.
- We sorted them into three groups, where the actor would either list the same amount of friends, three more, or three less. We had a distractor task where participants and the actor watched a background video. At the end, scores were collected and was applied to the self esteem scale, to see if their self esteem scores were affected by the number of friends the actor listed. To make sure these people were actually seen as friends, we had them list their friends, using the idea that if they weren't able to name their on campus friends, they are probably more of a peer.
- Finally, we created a poster where I worked on the graph and the data summary using SPSS, and presented for around 3 hours to classmates, other students in psychology, and professors.

During the final 2 years at my high school (Pine Crest School in Ft. Laurderdale) my team and I not only reached the playoffs for the first time in 10+ years, but had such good performance that I and a few other players were able to be recognized by the Sun Sentinel newspaper.
