Responsibilities included

• Taking routine vital signs
• Completing point of care testing
• Inserting IVs and drawing blood work
• Inserting Foley catheters and preforming straight catheterizations for urine
• Transporting stable patients while they received infusions of medications such as nitroglycerin, cardizem, heparin or amiodarone on a cardiac monitor
• Watching cardiac monitors and interpreting the rhythm
• Ensuring the department is clean and stocked
• Preforming EKGs when needed.

• Waiting tables as well as preforming additional cleaning tasks

• Responsibilities included providing personal care such as bathing, changing, toileting, and getting dressed
• I also did some light housework such as cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and providing transportation

• Responsibilities included surveying patients on the various floors about their hospital care and getting their feedback
• Then I would report the feedback to the director of patient care
