I Co-Own this company with one of my sons (Christian Barton). We specialize in farming such as Hay Baling, Pasture Mowing, Field plowing, and planting. We do custom hay baling and have our own leased and owned land for producing hay for sale.

Position was exactly the same as the previous supervisor position except the responsibility of direct supervision of the six techs was removed. This was a system-wide decision that had nothing to do with my performance in the previous position.

This position is the same as before except for the merger with Baylor Scott and White at this time created the hospital name change.

• Oversaw in-depth laboratory inspections and contributed to favorable outcomes.
• Maintained equipment and facilities in good working order.
• Conducted CAP inspections, maintained CAP rediness and performed daily quality control runs and monthly QC reviews in the Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulations sections.
• Directly Supervised six tecnologist personnel. Rounded with each tech monthly.
• Directed quality assurance standards to maximize results.
• Prepared employee schedules according to individual needs and skills, as well as coverage requirements.
• Instructed students on proper use and maintenance of equipment to prevent injuries.
• Investigated and resolved issues related to laboratory processes and procedures.

Worked in all sections in the lab. During this time period I worked all shifts at some point.

• Utilized expertise in microbiology, chemistry, blood bank, and hematology to help with diagnosis of medical issues.
• Maintained confidentiality of all patient information to conform to HIPAA, internal, and other regulatory standards.
• Performed routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to produce accurate results.
• Performed comprehensive analysis of patient samples and generated detailed reports to inform medical staff of results.
