As an Assistant Specialist in the Pereira Lab, my duties include assisting with grant, manuscript, and lab protocol preparation;
updating and maintaining lab training records, lab inventory, and lab chemical inventory; packing for and assisting with field sample collection such as milk, fecal, and deep nasal swabs; conducting various microbiological work such as DNA extraction, plating bacteria, minimum inhibitory concentration testing; communicating with producers and administering surveys

Planning of and overseeing of the Little International Stock Show, Artificial Insemination Clinic, End of Year Banquet, and Fundraisers. Designed the club website from scratch using the Weebly.com website designer. Leader of dairy goat showmanship, sheep showmanship, and halter breaking the Little I show steers and heifers.
