Accomplishments

While at JW Mitchell HS for the past 4 years, have empowered at-risk students who have failed a semester by working extended school day and summer school for credit recovery. Have also worked numerous after school athletic events. As a reading teacher, facilitated consistent increased student reading skills and comprehension through effective classroom management and lesson planning and implementation. Over 50% of my reading students typically show strong reading growth based on FAIR, FCAT, and FSA testing results. Helped raise $298 for charity as faculty advisor for Key Club at Freedom HS. Faculty sponsor of Game club and field hockey coach at Community Charter School of Excellence middle school.
