Cris McGregor

My soul purpose as an extra hire is to provide effective and safe traffic control and to assist in a working capacity for the construction, TV, and line cleaning departments within the Lines division of the Pierce County Wastewater facility. Also as an Extra Hire I am an asset in grounds keeping and I find pride in doing what I can to improve organization and cleanliness.

Represented Builders First Source in a customer service capacity. Traveling to many different building sites and interacting with superintendents, framers and other trades to ensure that our customer was getting the best end result to their build specs from our millwork department by measuring openings, treads, railings, banisters, trim and siting the direction of swing on doors. Often times finding framing or plumbing issues which were caught in a timely manner and could be corrected before encoring more costs as the build went on. All of this was submitted by forms that were filled out and communicating by email with support staff at BFS and with the Superintendent.

Operated varied hand and power tools to complete repairs. Troubleshot equipment breakdowns and performed preventive maintenance. Used problem-solving skills to alleviate issues efficiently with minimal supervision. Followed work orders and specifications for machine and equipment replacement, repair, or maintenance. Provided facility repairs, routine maintenance and grounds keeping to maintain the aesthetics and performance of RHA properties. Participated in the 24 hour emergency on call maintenance program where I abated water emergencies, renter lock outs, and fire watch were just a few of the many responses I encountered.
