Work History

Webb County Sheriff's Office Patrol

Webb County Sheriff's Office
03.2022 - Current

(Present) Webb County Deputy: As a Webb County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputy it was my responsibility to patrol the assigned district per shift. Part of my responsibilities as Patrol Deputies is writing in-depth, extensive, and meticulous reports, interview witnesses/ suspects, traffic stops, respond to all types of Texas criminal offenses from juvenile to adults, and deterring drug and human trafficking/smuggling. As Patrol deputies I have arrested criminals, interviewed suspects/victims, detained for investigation purposes, photographed crime scenes, secured crime scenes, and trained in 6th largest county in the state of Texas.

03/01/23 Webb County COMMUNITY AFFAIRS Officer: As a Webb County COMMUNITY AFFAIRS Officer I organized and strategized events to reach youth and adults in school/public settings. In such events public safety was my primary objective as well as spreading crucial, but very important information. Information was obtained from research I conducted on statistics and/or experience of fellow law enforcement entities to better the safety of the community, to include providing non-emergency and emergency contact information for local, state, and federal agencies to better prepare them for any life-threatening event. Additionally, I conducted presentations of investigation data, drug and narcotics deterrence to the youth and elderly, who are the most susceptible to scammers and predators.

(08/18/21- 06/30/22) UNITED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT: As a United Independent School District (U.I.S.D Police Officer P.D) I ensured the safety of students, teachers, and staff conducting k9 sweeps, routine classroom inspection of students and their possessions and preparing in-depth, extensive, and meticulous reports. As a result of conducting interviews and staying aware of trends, I was able to recognize gang members and take appropriate preventive action. As a U.I.S.D Police Officer, I received rigorous active shooter training and cross training with other law enforcement agencies in order to minimize public panic, injuries, fatalities and to be prepared for the best tactical response in the event of an active school shooter.
