
Mental Health Peer Support Specialist, trained and certified by Recovery International/MN DHS. Expertise in Patient Engagement, Support Group Facilitation, managing Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain, and PSMI (Depression, Anxiety, CPTSD), and more.
-Program and Conduct weekly, 90 minute group sessions for adult(18+) participants living with both Chronic Illness/Pain and PSMI, using personally derived skills including (but not limited to): Encouraging Participation, Reflective Listening, Directing Conversation, and Boundary Setting, as well as skills and values learned in Certification Training via Recovery International.
-Program and Facilitate weekly, 90 minute sessions for adults (18+) living with both Chronic Illness/Pain and PSMI, using personally derived skills including (but not limited to): Encouraging Participation, Reflective Listening, Directing Conversation, a Non-Judgmental Stance, and Boundary Setting
-Assisted in conducting weekly, two hour group meetings, according to curriculum provided by Celebrate Recovery
-Assisted in conducting weekly, two-hour group meetings, using personally derived skills including (but not limited to): Encouraging Participation, Reflective Listening, Directing Conversation, Conflict De-Escalation, and Boundary Setting
-Provided 1-on-1 Support to group participants, both in person at meetings and via text/phone outside of meetings
-Validated and Encouraged participants in their recovery journey, utilizing personally derived skills including (but not limited to): Reflective Listening, Empathy, Resource Navigation, Boundary Setting, and a Non-Judgmental Stance
