Family Readiness Group
When our Local Longview military men and women deployed to Iraq, I was the go to person for the wife's that were home state side with their children. If they had car issues, plumbing, to you name it I was the one they called to help them by finding resources. Our FRG did numerous fundraising for our soldiers and families. While the soldiers were deployed, we did movie night once a month at the armory, BBQ during the summer, and Christmas party with Santa for the kids. Got school supplies and backpacks for the kids.
The state of Washington awarded me the FRG of the year.
