For the past 14 years, I have worked as a hairstylist and owned my own salon. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in this industry and all the opportunities it has provided me.
I always had a desire to pursue a career in nursing but I was unable to attend college for it immediately after high school. Fortunately, I now have the chance to fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse and I am absolutely loving every moment of my education. In order to dedicate myself fully to school, I made the difficult decision to close my salon this past month. However, I am now seeking a way to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting while also earning some income to contribute towards household expenses.
