  • Assistant COR for New Home Port USCGC Eagle, attended site visits, measured pier and collaborated with design for utility and bench arrangements that would also comply with AMTRAK regulations.
  • Design Project Manager assigned with 3 Demo projects valued over $180k at SFO Moriches and Jones Beach to demolish fitness trailer, guard shack, and a HAZMAT locker.   • Operations Officer. Led seven-person division in support of cutter operations, oversaw three gunnery exercises, managed $50k budget and reviewed/approved purchase requests for the unit to include galley food, cleaning supplies, migrant and detainee personnel on load supplies, all communications and electronics equipment on the cutter, maintenance parts, and engineering supplies.
  • Assistant Property Officer. Aided in accounting for cutter property worth over $46M annually, taking inventory as a count-team member, and signing for equipment in USCG Financial Management System
  • Performed pre-solicitation planning; Analyzed Purchase Requests (PR), reviewed Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), coordinated with other business units and conducted market research to determine product & service availability, yearly budget of $50k.
  • Ensured compliance to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Homeland Security Acquisition Manual (HSAM), and the Homeland Security Administration Regulation (HSAR)
  • Drafted provisions and clauses, prepared business memoranda and ordering guides for the unit, allowing purchases to be made using appropriate funding
  • Solicited, evaluated, and awarded contracts with commercial organizations and the Federal Government to furnish projects and services required for the U.S. Coast Guard. Lead project officer for the installation of SINII upgraded navigational system onboard the cutter, installation of STARLINK to improve connectivity and work efficiency. Inspected installation, project management, identified any repairs or alterations needed prior to concluding contracted service.
  • Dry Dock (Nov 2023 – Mar 2024, 5 months) acted as work item inspector and project officer, supervising maintenance management and repairs while on duty, attended progress meetings with command and Thoma-Sea contractors.
