Additional Information

I was born and raised in Alaska. I was brought up in the bush of Alaska and as a high school student we located to Eagle River and eventually to Anchorage. Helping people has always been a goal of mine hence my journey into Nursing. I loved been a nurse and retired 2 years ago. I chose to retire because I wanted to start on another journey with traveling and life is short. With that said I'd like to continue to help others and I thought I could achieve it by working with the Red Cross.

I have worked as a volunteer at the YMCA in past years, teaching fitness classes. I volunteered in the Cardiac Rehab program during that time as well. My last volunteer experience has been with the Alaska Health Fairs.
