Support Kaiser’s shared care model (as of January 2025), providing clinical assistance to 6–8 providers per session in a high-volume family practice, operating without fixed dyad assignments

• Perform chart preparation and pre-visit planning to support efficient clinic flow
• Provide culturally responsive care and tailored support to a primarily non-English-speaking patient population
• Proactively manage in-basket communication and patient outreach to close care gaps, promote preventive health, and support chronic disease management
• Perform diabetic foot exams, retinal screenings, routine pediatric and adult immunizations, and assist with minor procedure setup; document vitals and medical histories, and ensure infection control and exam room readiness

Rotated through six specialty clinics: Rheumatology, Dermatology, Senior Care, Falls Clinic, Memory and Brain, and Occupational Medicine

• Documented patient symptoms and facilitated follow-up medication education in rheumatology visits, including methotrexate and biologic therapies
• Conducted MoCA screenings and gait assessments as part of cognitive and fall risk evaluations
• Assisted with dermatologic biopsies and excisions; prepared sterile trays and upheld patient comfort
• Performed EKGs, bladder scans, and administered vaccines to support chronic disease and preventive care
• Maintained CLIA standards and ensured exam rooms were properly stocked and organized

Completed clinical externship in a high-capacity academic primary care clinic alongside residents and attending physicians

• Completed patient intake—vital signs, medication review, and chief complaint—to support timely provider access
• Performed phlebotomy, glucose testing, urinalysis, immunizations, and basic wound care
• Maintained infection control protocols and ensured exam rooms were prepared for continuous care delivery
• Assisted with emergency department transfers and observed interdisciplinary treatment planning
